Eye and Eye slings can be used in choker, vertical and basket hitches
Also there is Type 4 Eye Slings with 1/2 Twisted (Reversed) or folded, OR 1/3 folded tapered eyes usually furnished, unless Flat (Type 3) eyes are specified
Sling eyes are made tapered (Type 4) by twisting or folding instead of flat eyes （Type 3) normally for slings that are more than 2 inches wide, or as requested.
As normal practices, sling eyes will be sleeve wrapped and protected at the force bearing point unless otherwise specified
